The Center for European Voluntary Service in Moldova

The Center for European Voluntary Service in Moldova offers information and support to young people and organizations interested in European volunteerism. If you are a young European or Moldovan interested in performing an European Voluntary Service (EVS), or a Moldovan association interested in hosting a European volunteer, we stand ready to provide you with a wide range of information and services to help you achieve your objectives.

The mission of the Center is:
·   t act as a comprehensive platform of information on the Youth in Action program of the European
       Commission and on the EVS in particular
·   to facilitate the networking of people and organizations interested in volunteerism and Europe
·   to provide support services to organize EVS placements and a wide range of other youth projects

The Center for EVS in Moldova is a program of ICCD

The Center for European Voluntary Service in Moldova is program of action of the Moldovan NGO International Committee for Citizen Diplomacy (ICCD). ICCD has a long story of setting-up youth projects and activities contributing to the development of civil society in Moldova and to the civil integration of Transnistria to Moldova.
As a youth organization, its staff participates to various activities of the YOUTH program and the Youth in Action program. By setting up the Center for European Voluntary Service in Moldova, ICCD has decided to step up its involvement in youth projects with the following objectives:
   ·      to support European volunteerism and spread European values in Moldova
   ·      to widen the cultural and professional horizon of the Moldovan youth through European volunteerism
   ·      to contribute to the integration of Moldova into Europe for a better future.
ICCD is an independent, apolitical, non profit, non-governmental organization and the Center for EVS in Moldova does not support any political party.
